WORLD SERIES

The 20th annual World Series of Golf tournament will commence on May 19, 2008.

ESG&EC President, Per-Ulrik Fatcatsson, confirmed Toukley, Wyong, Kooindah Waters and Tuggerah Lakes as the venues.
The President also warned lovers of quality golf to steer well clear of the NSW Central Coast during the week long tournament.

STRONG FIELD LIKELY

The defending champion, JP Hayes, headlines the expected record field of Seve Hemosteros, Jose-Mumma Olazabal, Kipper Parnevik, Dick Faldo, Edwardo Romero, Per-Ulrik Fatcatsson, Java Haas, Mark O'Meehan, Davidson Love III, Kenny Crenshaw, Soldier Montgomerie, Grantief Goosen, Tack Nicklaus, Cavey Pavin, Tubby Waldorf and Notah Kelly III.

THE VENUES

Toukley, Wyong, Kooindah Waters and Tuggerah Lakes golf courses will host the 20th annual World Series of Golf.

EVENTS

The formats for the first three days will be determined closer to the tournament when playing numbers can be confirmed. The final day will be a stroke event at Tuggerah.

ACCOMMODATION

Players will be staying at 3 venues, the exclusive Chez Hemo property at Blue Bay, the Denning Street Costa Plenti apartments and the El Lago Casino suites.
